Bo Yang, Professor, Ph. D. Supervisor, was fully funded by the China Scholarship Council (CSC) to be a visiting scholar at the University of Liverpool in United Kingdom from October 2023 to January 2024. He was awarded the title of the first 10,000 talents plan of Yunnan Province - young top-notch talents (provincial and ministerial level) and the study and visiting program. He has published two Chinese academic monographs, more than 170 SCI journal papers (including 11 ESI papers and 3 hot papers), and more than 30 EI journal papers. He has presided over 30 scientific research projects, including two National Natural Science Foundation of China. Selected as the 2021-2023 Elsevier China Highly Cited Scholar (Electrical Engineering) and the 2022-2023 Top 2% Global Influential Scientists. He has won 1 first prize in the technology category of China Electricity Council and 1 second prize of China Industry-University-Research Cooperation Innovation Achievement Award. He is a member of the Youth Working Committee of the 8th Council of China Electrotechnical Society, a standing director of the Energy Information Society System Technology Subcommittee and the Dynamic Power System Artificial Intelligence Application Technology Subcommittee of IEEE PES Smart Grid and New Technology Committee (China), a senior consulting expert of Yunnan Electric Power Industry Association, the co-chair of the ICPST 2023 conference of the EI inclusion conference, the chairman of the ICPST 2024 conference, the editor of three SCI journals, the editorial board member of two EI journals, and the editorial board member of one Chinese journal, He is also a member of the youth editorial board of five Chinese core journals, and serves as the editor of more than 20 SCI, EI and Chinese core special journals.
